The Bloomfield Municipal Youth Guidance Council is an organization whose members are appointed by the Mayor and Council. Our main purpose is to create and implement productive activities for our teens during their idle hours in order to keep them out of trouble. We can think of no better way to accomplish this goal than by placing them in productive jobs offered by local businesses. 

On Thursday, April 10, 2008, from 6 - 8:00 p.m., the Bloomfield Municipal Youth Guidance Council  will host its 5th Annual Youth Job Fair in the Bloomfield High School cafeteria. The job fair will be attended by over 200, 16-19 year old Bloomfield teens. Employers are urged to call Gary Iacobacci at 973-743-5971 to reserve a space for their company.

We have a database of bright, able bodied teens who are willing to work hard to earn money so that they can save for college tuition, have money to purchase their first car or just to have some extra cash for recreation. Our database of available Bloomfield teens include those that are seeking full time, part time or summer jobs. If you have any part time, full time or summer positions available, please fill out our Employer Job Order Form by navigating to the Contact Us page and clicking on Employers. By hiring local teens, you, the employer benefit for a few different reasons. The fact that this is a totally free service saves you money on ads and employment services. You also benefit by the fact that all of our teens are Bloomfield residents. Therefore, you are helping to boost Bloomfield's economy because much of the money earned by the teen that you employ will be spent in Bloomfield.
